About The PEACE Plan

God designed us to make a difference, to make an impact with our life. He wants us to leave the world in a better situation than when we came into it. There’s only one way to do that… by serving others.  That’s the vision of the PEACE Plan… “Ordinary people empowered by God's Spirit, doing what Jesus did, together, wherever they are.”  The PEACE Plan is about:

Promoting Reconciliation:  Billions live without hope and in conflict.  Those who follow Christ are commanded to bring reconciliation to a hurting and needy world.  The Church's primary method of promoting reconciliation is through planting churches.

Equipping Servant Leaders:  There’s a dramatic shortage of wise leaders in the world.  Jesus said that the essence of leadership is not lording it over people but serving others. 

Assisting the Poor:  Half the world lives on less than two dollars a day – three billion people are in extreme poverty. 

Caring for the Sick:  Billions of people still suffer from preventable diseases.
 

Educating the Next Generation:  Three billion people in the world are functionally illiterate.

Saddleback PEACE Projects
The PEACE Plan will ultimately involve hundreds of thousands of churches.  Saddleback Church has begun its part in The PEACE Plan by sending thousands of its members to over 60 nations to partner with other churches in PEACE projects. 

General designated funds for Saddleback PEACE projects have been established at Saddleback Church. You may recommend a distribution from your Saddleback Giving Fund to any of these projects by using the charity name below.
